The Psychology of Body Language

Studies in social psychology indicate that proficiency, accuracy, and efficiency in communication and relational skills depend on non-verbal communication. Body language, particularly, can be regarded as the external manifestation of our emotional state. Every gesture and body movement can shed valuable insight into how a person is really feeling and thinking. Because body language is so unconsciously driven we tend to be largely unaware of it. This programme focuses on mastering the signals we give and read through our own and other people’s body language. This programme can also include a video component where participants are filmed during specific interactions so that they can analyse their own body language and its effectiveness.
