Workplace conflict is an inevitable reality, but if managed well can lead to an enriched working environment. This programme looks at various conflict-management styles, and while participants can identify their personal style, they will have the opportunity to work with other styles they may not have tried before. The focus is on situational conflict management, recognising that one cannot adopt one style for all situations but rather, be able to use a variety of approaches, choosing the best for every situation. Participants will recognise the causes of interpersonal conflict and become aware of their emotional triggers to prevent explosive situations. They will learn new conflict management strategies that will improve their communication performance and ultimately increase the success of their business initiatives.
