Managing Stress & Achieving Work/Life Balance
Stress and its impact on people, performance, and your organisation is often underestimated in today’s competitive and fast-paced working environment. Yet research uncovers staggering statistics about its negative effects. This programme covers three core areas in dealing with stress effectively: understanding, assessing, and managing stress.
Participants will gain a deep understanding of the psychological, physical causes, and effects of stress; use assessment instruments to determine how stress is impacting them and how well they are responding to daily and ongoing stressors; address stress management and prevention from a holistic perspective – physical, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual; tackle work/life balance; cover specific stress management techniques such as deep relaxation and progressive muscular relaxation; develop a personal stress management plan to implement in your daily reality.
